The first “commit” was made on February 13th, 2011. And it was a real commitment. I think at that time I just wanted to make my own little dungeon crawler. In the style of the old classic games like Eye Of The Beholder, Dungeon Master and of course The Bard’s Tale. Didn’t spent too much
Happy holidays and best wishes for 2016, my friends! Hopefully we will see The Bard’s Tale 4 coming. To shorten the wait, you might want to play Silversword in Legend Mode – no saving outside camps, and no IAPs available (except Rise Of The Dragons and the Compendium). You will get your very own Game
And soon Silversword will celebrate it’s fifth birthday. Still playing it? If not, join the game and join the community – it’s worth it! There are still things in the pipeline that will make it into a future update. Talking about updates, the next one (2.5.5) will be released shortly, and it will contain some
Eight new runes, that do not only give more damage / armour, but also give HP / SP regeneration, and even damage shields (automatic riposte when getting hit by an enemy). The Flooded Isles are being worked on. Heritage Expansion… the world gets tougher, and the landscape is changing…
Thank you very much, Shaun Musgrave. You wrote an awesome article about games that implement VoiceOver support. It’s worth reading: http://toucharcade.com/2015/05/06/blind-gamers-are-embracing-developers-who-have-an-eye-for-accessibility/
Commercial week in Silversword! To celebrate the upcoming banking enhancements, the Bank Of Tarnak has reduced the citizenship price for new citizens (players). Enter the world while it’s cheap 🙂 Silversword on discount now!
Thanks to the great Shaun Musgrave over at toucharcade.com, after almost 3 years of Silversword coming to live – I finally got my review. With a tear of happiness in my eyes, I bow and say: Thank you very much! Here it is: RPG Reload – Silversword
Tons of snow surrounding the city… winter is coming 😉 With the latest update 2.5.0, all severe issues should have been addressed. But of course there are still things to do. Thank you for your continued posting on the ideas forum. kind regards Mario
Now with everything switched to iOS 8, it seems that the game has some issues with 7.x. Especially the load/save/help/shop screens might not display correctly, a fix will be provided as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience!
I just submitted a new update (2.4.7) to the App Store. It will fix some issues with iOS 8, mainly a scrolling issue and some resolution problems. It should go live within the next days, so stay tuned 🙂
