Now that my mages are all level 13+ archmages, this doesn't bother me as much but I used to routinely spend more time rerolling than grinding XP while I was trying to cap my intelligence and constitution. So your mages roll a d8 for hp and a d4 for sp. you have a 1 in 32 chance of maxxing those roll...

When you have another day until the fountain resets, just go to the camp and it becomes the next morning. I will note that you can get ranges on weapons when you inspect them in stores for purchase.

I just can't do it in my inventory.

What would really make the game tougher is if your Mage would only have the highest hp you accumulated in any one class rather than the cumulative of al your classes. Humans get +1 to a random stat.

Dex is +1 to hit with ALL weapons AND +1 AC.
Hmm

The more I play the more I realize that humans are pretty good for just about all non magic user class.

Don't you need to get to level 80+ to cap all your stats?

Am I being too optimistic about getting through the game waaaay before that (mages will probably get there but I'm not sure that my paladin will)

Its not that the rogue has a bad rep, its that he adds nothing unique (or very little) to the party after your magic users have gotten all their utility spells. If you wanted to create a great class, then merge monk and rogue so that monks get rogue skills. While we're at it, we could make some of t...
