Maybe there are multiple triggers to open it up? When I returned from the deep mines previously, the walls where you might enter were translucent and you could see a chest. Now that I return, the walls are solid. I must have done something 'right' to trigger the walls to be translucent, then missed ...

Have to agree, enjoyed the expansion, lots of challenges and enjoyment. However, I just didn't feel the story. Tasks brought me through to the endgame encounter, but I didn't real get a depth of story from the tasks, clues, etc.

Anyone run into a character that wanted Spider Silk?
