The boards are quiet but I have hope that I’ll get some help.
First off, I absolutely love this game. I’ve had it a long time and never finished. But this, my third adventure will be the one. That is if I can figure out how to get to the hidden area in the Plane of Air.
I believe that I have to have both the symbols of good and evil. I have the Heart of a unicorn but I cannot find the symbol of evil. I’ve combed through every corner of Miner’s Deep which is where I think it is, but keep coming up empty and devoid of spell points.
At one point in the game I had a glitch where I somehow managed to lose my first Firestaff and some nice gear in the in Karilan Andur. I was a little buzzed at the time and don’t remember exactly what happened. I was enchanting some stuff with Electrum runes, teleported away and realized the next day that my archmage no longer had his Firestaff and enchanted robes. I don’t recall if he possibly had the symbol of evil too. Did I mention I was a little intoxicated? I tried to load my last save and managed instead to save over it. FML
What’s the name of the symbol? Maybe That’ll help me search the bank. Or is there some trick in Miners Deep that I might have missed?

Re: Symbol of Evil
I figured it out and learned that when you say you checked everywhere, you probably didn’t check everywhere
Not sure how to add a spoiler so stop scrolling if you don’t want to know.
The symbol of evil (black heart) is in the Chamber of Storms in Miners Deep level 2
