Spell Mastery question

Hello all!

My question: I see that casting a spell many, many times will eventually lower the SP cost of that spell. Can someone give me a clue as to how many castings of a given spell this takes? My Magician 8 has cast Quick Fix perhaps 100 times (I've not really been keeping track) - but I've yet to hear the "chime" that the guide book mentions.

And to Mario, thanks for designing this game! I have spent far too much time in my chair already after owning it for only a few days. I am a huge fan of the Wizardry series on all its platforms - especially the series finale Wiz 8. It's great to be able to play a solid RPG without all of that nasty MMORG and in-app $$$ junk!

Thank you very much!
You can look up your actual spell mastery for a special spell from the character screen.
Just tap a character, and switch to the spell list. Then select a spell - your mastery will be shown there.

One cast gives 1% - so you should be very close
