It took me a while, but I just realized that adding multiple attacks to the bard, rogue and hunter may not be wanted for the reason of not using too many consumable arrows besides the reason of the considerable advantage high range gives those classes.
Maybe it would be better served as a hail of arrows or archery mastery skill which could be used like spells for mobs, crits except -maybe- by bow/arrow type should be lost entirely or dimished when the skill is used. Maybe as the skill is leveled it could go from 1/10 to 1/3 lvl # of arrows?. As I've implied the hunter in particular in the expantion went from one of the strong classes to a -relatively- weak one imo for want of damage. The hunt skill will make them a desirable class again imo, and more damage will make them awesome again...
Another alternative beside the hail of arrows or specials bow(s) for hunters might be 'black arrows' ala The Hobbit which might crit the monsters immune to normal crits at something like a 25% rate.
